As a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of The Ontario College of Psychotherapists, Jessica maintains professional accreditation and adheres to high ethical standards. She is also an active member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists (OACCPP). In 2003, Jessica Ehrenworth co-founded a renowned health centre that offers a range of services, including general counselling and specialized anger management programs for both court-mandated and voluntary clients. She is a co-developer of two distinctive programs - The Anger Resolution Program of Ontario (TARPO) and the Awareness Through Conscious Emotions (ACE) program.
Presently, Jessica is making a significant impact in the counselling and mental health fields through her innovative approach at Brain Healthy. She utilizes unique philosophies, online psychoeducational programs, and virtual counselling sessions to reach and assist a broader audience.
Jessica enjoys working with couples, families, and individuals, addressing a wide array of issues such as marital and family conflicts, parenting challenges, anxiety, stress, pain, and anger management. Her proficiency in dealing with trauma and depression, coupled with her compassion and empathy, empowers her clients to navigate difficult times with confidence and strength.
My goal is to offer you a safe space by listening to you with openness, curiosity and compassion. I work with my clients to create a supportive environment in which you feel free to explore your thoughts and feelings, and identify your goals. Perhaps you hope to ease your suffering, deal with trauma (past or present), free yourself from unhealthy behaviour, or adjust to life transitions. Whatever it may be, we will work together to determine how to most effectively help you move forward.
Regardless of your specific goals, my hope is that our work together will help you achieve increased wellness mentally, emotionally, physically and even spiritually.
I graduated with an M.Ed (Counselling Program) at the University of Calgary and a BA (Psychology and English) at Trent University.
Belonging, love, and purpose are the fundamental pillars upon which our mental health rests. That is why I am dedicated to assisting individuals, couples, and families in understanding their unique life experiences and identifying areas that may need help. I love working with individuals and couples to help them navigate emotional and sexual intimacy, anxiety, depression, and various other challenges. I am also passionate about working with executives experiencing burnout, as well as parents, teenagers, and seniors who are transitioning into different life stages and grappling with accompanying obstacles.
I do not believe in a “one size fits all” therapeutic approach. I believe you are the expert of your life and when working with me, I will make sure you receive individualized strategies and tools so that you will get everything you need to meet your personalized goals.
I sincerely appreciate you taking the initial step toward embarking on your healing journey. By fostering a collaborative approach rooted in self-discovery, we can work together to discover happiness and fulfillment, developing a sense of balance, personal growth, and empowerment.
